Hey people, sorry, I haven’t been updating this story blog for ages!

I’m too busy with school and other stuff. :p

Actually, the truth is that I’m too lazy to update. But no worries, I won’t be closing down this blog or anything, I will ONLY update it when I’m free or not too lazy to think and type.

Nope, I’m not on writer’s block, just in case if you guys are wondering. I already have inspirations for the next two chapters of “It’s not always sunshine and rainbows” :)

I may update anytime, so come back often to check  ;)

Feelings

25 Dec

Caroline woke up feeling very uneasy and dizzy.

“What is wrong with me? My head..it hurts..”, groaned Caroline.

All of a sudden, she fell onto the floor with a loud thud.

Just as she fell, Stiles rushed into the room.

“Oh my! Caroline! Are you okay?!?” Stiles asked worriedly.

Caroline moaned and tried to pull herself back up but she couldn’t so Stiles went over and helped her up.

“Be careful…now, what on earth happened?” asked Stiles as he helped Caroline up.

“Nothing. I think it’s because I’m too tired from all the mad dance practicing going on..” answered Caroline as she dusted herself.

“M-mad…dance practicing?” questioned Stiles shyly.

“Yeah. Tonight I will be performing  in ‘The Stage’! I must be too excited about it that I haven’t had enough sleep!” joked Caroline.

“Well…” Stiles rubbed his head and said, “I’m sorry about last night yeah. About the Blair thing..I guess I should let it go even if it hurts me.”

Caroline smiled and said nothing.

“You aren’t mad or anything?” asked Stiles.

“No! Why should I?” Caroline rubbed her chin and smiled.

“I mean…i feel guilty you know. You always treated me so…nice. It just isn’t you.” said Stiles.

“It is not me.” Caroline laughed. “Now get along, let’s have breakfast together before I lose my consciousness.”

“Stiles?”

“Yes?” answered Stiles as he gulped down a portion of his salad.

“I wonder…if you would..you know…” Caroline shrugged as she said the words out, “come and watch me perform?”

Stiles was shocked. After the way he treated Caroline, she was still so nice to him.

He choked on his own food and thought for a few seconds before replying Caroline.

“Well, I’m not working tonight, so I suppose it’s a yes.” Stiles answered hesitantly.

Stiles could see that as she soon as Caroline heard his answer, she smiled a bit, even if he answered with a unsatisfied tone.

“Mind sending me over to ‘The Stage’ after eating?” Caroline asked shyly.

Stiles got up from the dining table and headed to the kitchen and shouted out, “Sure! No problem!” and whispered, “after how I’ve treated you..that is..”

It was very quiet in the car and Caroline and Stiles kept quiet during the first few minutes of the journey.

Stiles slid in a cd titled, “My Songs” into the cd player. Melodious guitar music could be heard from it.

“Nice songs..” commented Caroline, her right eyebrow slightly raised up.

Stiles fidgeted as he replied, “Heh…yeah, thanks. I write songs when I’m bored or when i feel like it.”

“Wow.” exclaimed Caroline. “This song is good.” Caroline clapped her hands and nodded her head to the beat of the music.

“Are you just saying it for real or just to make me feel good?” Stiles asked brashly.

Caroline smiled warmly and answered in her most sweetest tone ever, “I love the song. The end of the question.”

Before Stiles said goodbye to Caroline, she handed over a ticket to him. Stiles looked at the ticket and it stated, “VIP”. He was happy that Caroline forgave him yet sad when he thought of how he treated her.

Stiles arrived 15 minutes late for the show. Luckily he had his VIP pass, so he could escape the large pack of people crowding up the front entrance.

The Stage was totally glitzy. Stiles felt like he was in Las Vegas. The people who attended wore formally and were from the richer parts of the town. Only the rich ones have VIP passes. As for the less-rich ones, they have to depend on the time. Only the early birds get to go in first and the rest will have to wait for their turn.

Stiles asked one of the working commitee of the whereabouts of his seat.

“Lemme see your pass..” asked the woman. Stiles handed her the pass and waited patiently for an answer. “Okay, your seat is way up front, near the stage. Lucky seat you got there.” The woman winked as she showed Stiles his seat.

Stiles was about to seat on the comfy leather sofa when he heard a soft voice calling out his name.

He turned behind to find out it was Blair. Surprisingly, he felt nothing. None of the butterflies-in-his-tummy kind or nervousness upon seeing her. He smiled and asked, “What’s up?”

“Well…Caroline explained all about what you had done earlier on! Oh, I’m so relieved it’s just a joke! Please, Stiles!” said Blair as she smacked his shoulder, “Act your age!”

Stiles stared at Blair in horror. Caroline defended him and had lie about what he has done earlier. He felt even more guiltier on how he treated Caroline.

“You know what.” Blair said slowly as she patted Stiles’s shoulder. “You should check out Carol. She’s a super sweet girl and a very gorgeous one too.”

Stiles just gave a forced smile and sat down saying nothing.

“WELCOME TO THE STAGE, EVERYBODY!” squealed Agnes Crumplebottom, the director of ‘The Stage’.

“I am so glad that almost half of the population of Sunset-Valley is here! As for the other half, do not fret! We are on live now and probably on your TV screen now! Sit back and enjoy the show as we, ‘The Stage’ bring you one of our very talented dancers out!”

“Do welcome Miss Caroline Debrey!!!!!!” Agnes shouted as she clapped her hands. Everyone clapped along tremendously.

All of a sudden, the whole room was silent. Everyone started to make gasping sounds as Caroline stepped out.

Stiles look up to see what the commotion is about and he too, gasped.

Caroline looked different-very different. Her tight curls were tied into a ponytail and she had on a berry coloured lipstick. When the spotlights shined upon her, her beauty could be seen clearly.

“Wow.” Stiles thought as he placed his hands on his mouth. “She looks….beautiful.”

As Caroline walked along the stage to say her greetings to everyone else, Stiles stood on the spot looking very much dazed.

Her beauty has left Stiles dumbfounded. Stiles scratched his head as he thought to himself, “She is pretty as always…but why have I suddenly find her even more prettier than before, beautiful perhaps?”

Caroline shouted in excitement, “Let’s get this party started!” Everyone cheered in return and as soon as Caroline started dancing, everyone danced along too. The party was indeed very wild and everyone pretty much enjoyed themselves.

As soon as the show is over and most of the people have went home, Stiles went over to Caroline to congratulate her.

“Oh my Gosh! How was my performance, Stiles? Tell me!” Caroline asked quickly.

“It was great. You can tell from the crowd!” Stiles laughed and then he said out those words, the three words that took him a long time to say it out. “You….look…..beautiful.” Stiles said shyly.

Caroline teared a little bit and then resorted to hug Stiles.

They hugged for a few seconds only but for Stiles, it felt like forever.

He felt different. He didn’t know what that feeling was, but he knew it was different than how he felt towards her before.

He no longer hates her.

Instead, he felt something. An indescribable feeling.

Regret

21 Dec

As usual, Stiles was coming home from work and on his way to the entrance, he saw a scene, a terrible scene that will break his heart again.

“Okay, just relax, walk like nothing’s happening..” Stiles murmured to himself as he walked with his eyes shut tightly.

“Ugh! I can’t stand it!” Stiles thought to himself. He ran into the house resisting himself from breaking down into tears.

He stopped for a second and thought to himself, “She doesn’t even know how i’m feeling towards her yet, I don’t have the courage to tell her how I feel!” Once again, Stiles had his heart broken by Blair, who knew nothing about his affection towards her.

That night, Stiles thought of an idea that might help boost Blair’s impression of him.

“This is a silly idea, but it will work!” Stiles’s miserable frown began to turn upwards forming a smile.

Caroline was having her breakfast of salad every morning as usual until she saw someone rather surprising.

She choked on her own food and panicked as she took another look at a very-impressive looking Stiles.

“Wow!”, exclaimed Caroline as she wiped off the smears from the table. Stiles was a newly transformed man. He dressed himself in an expensive-looking biker jacket and wore skinny jeans. He had on aviators which Caroline found weird, as it wasn’t even that sunny at her house.

Caroline turned to look at Stiles and smiled.

“What, bimbo?” Stiles asked.

“Nothing.” Caroline blushed as she answered him.

“Judging by your wicked smile, i assume there’s something poking in that little pea brain of yours.”

Caroline laughed and said, “You look rather different today. Very handsome.” Stiles tried to stop himself from grinning. “And cool. Yep. Definitely cool.” Caroline continued.

Stiles was happy. He knew his whole idea was going to work. Since Blair loves biker guys like Cyclone, he might as well transform into a biker dude instead of a normal guy like everyone else.

He went to the backyard where he found Blair relaxing on the sunchair reading a book.

“Blair!” Stiles called out her name in a singing tone.

Blair put off her book and asked, “Yeah? What’s up, Stiles?”

Stiles gathered up all his courage and said, “Blair, baby, let’s have dinner tonight! Just the two of us.” He was hoping for a positive answer from Blair.

“Ew! Yucks! What the hell is wrong with you, Stiles?” Blair screamed as she shoved his hands away from her hips.

“Don’t you like the new me? The new cool guy me?” Stiles asked miserably.

Blair was in shock, her mouth dry as she thought of an answer to reply Stiles.

“No! You’re creeping me out, seriously. I can’t hang out with you. I have a boyfriend.” Blair said sternly.

Stiles could feel his heart aching as he brought himself to say out the words that he had always wanted to say to Blair.

“I love you. I have always love you. I love you since the day you moved into the apartment. Your smile, your actions, they’re all so adorable. I love that you are a good person, someone who donates all her money to the charity. “

Stiles took a long breath. He managed to say all those, without stuttering.

Blair sighed and then Stiles could see she was angry, very angry.

“As I told you, I have a boyfriend.” said Blair in a digressed tone. “Is this why you wanted to move in with me?” asked Blair as she gave a shocked expression.

Stiles gulped and nodded his head.

“No, I have never ever feel that way towards you, Stiles. We’re only friends and will always remain friends. You will find someone better I’m sure. Now, please, I have a date with Cyclone.” said Blair as she walked away from him.

Stiles stood there feeling dejected. Looking from the corner of his eyes, he could see Caroline staring afar looking teary-eyed. He had no idea why yet he had no intention on asking her.

“I’m so glad you are here.”

A soft voice blurted out. Stiles looked up from the sea-view and turned to look at the person. It was Caroline. Great. He thought to himself. The last person he wanted to see.

Stiles got up from the bench and asked, “Yes, Miss Busy-body?”

Caroline ignored Stiles’s sarcasm with a smile. “Well, uh. I saw what happened between you and Blair today.” Her voice coarsen up as she blurted it out.

“Uh-huh. So you must be happy for me, eh?” Stiles answered back hastily.

Caroline scratched her head and frowned. “So, you dressed up like that for Blair?” Stiles rolled his eyes at Caroline and looked away.

“I just wanted to tell you this. It’s no use to try to break apart Cyclone and Blair’s relationship. They have been in love with one another since high-school.”

Stiles’s heart ached so badly that it feels like a million holes has been punched into his heart. His face muscles stiffen as he tried to fight back his tears from falling down.

Feeling so mad and frustated, Stiles shouted back at Caroline, “Well! Look here, if you’re trying to make me feel sad, then congratulations! You succeeded! So, leave me alone now! I hate girls like you, pretending to be nice outside when you’re actually full of evil inside you!”

“I-Is t-t-that what you think of me? An evil p-person?” cried Caroline.

Stiles could see that Caroline was hurt. Her face turned sour as she said it out, “I was only trying to be your friend.”
As soon as she blurted out those words, she ran away from Stiles whimpering.

Stiles stood there looking very upset and angry. He was mad at himself for not being able to control his anger.

“Oh no! What have I done?” cried Stiles.

He knew he had done a terrible mistake. A mistake that he will regret, forever.

Heartbroken

19 Dec

Just to ease off tension from the house, Caroline went up to Stiles to have a little chat with him.

Caroline told Stiles about all her beach and travelling adventures which didn’t interest Stiles, not even one bit. Seeing how bored he is, she decided to do something more fun that might shock Stiles. (She’s a daredevil btw)

In a jiffy, she dropped lumpy mashed potatoes on the floor and boasted to Stiles that she will eat them all up no matter how dirty it is.

Stiles, of course, was revolted!

With a disgusted look, Stiles sighed and said, “Please, no more of this. No more of this..digustingness.”

Caroline was upset. “Everyone loves it when i do this. How come he don’t?”, she thought to herself.

“Please, excuse me, i need to go get some water from the kitchen before i puke!” Stiles said as he shoved Caroline away.

As he was about to go get some water from the fridge, he saw Blair and Cyclone Sword flirting with one another. Both of them looked very much in love, whispering silently and giggling away in their own world.

Stiles was upset when he saw that. But he cheered himself up as he thought it was just some harmless flirting. No big deal.

It wasn’t until he heard Cyclone said, “Would you…be…my girlfriend?” Stiles basically choked himself as he heard that. He turned to look behind only to see Blair holding Cyclone’s hand saying, “Yes, I do, baby.” She smiled in embarassment.

Not wanting to see more, Stiles ran away from the scene, tears filling up his eyes as he tried to fight them back.

The only girl he ever truly loved belong to someone else now.

Stiles had a hard time sleeping usually, as he is a light sleeper, but tonight, he found it even harder to fall asleep as he recall back what happened earlier.

Tears rolled down his cheeks as he thought about it. Stiles tossed around his bed trying to get himself to sleep but he couldn’t no matter how he tried. So, he decided to sit outside the balcony, enjoying the sea water smell and fresh morning air.

He sat silently on the bench thinking to himself, “What should I do? Now that Blair’s got a boyfriend, i have no chance. Should I just go back to the apartment with my buddies or stay here and wait for Blair to be single again?” He smacked his forehead as he thought about it.

“What a stupid, stupid idea.”

It was 5.00 in the morning now, the time where Caroline usually wakes up for a short while just to water her plants. As she stepped onto the balcony, she was amazed to see Stiles up in this ungodly hour.

“Oh My Gosh! Stiles! I didn’t know you are a morning bird!”, she joked. Stiles ignored her and continued staring at the sky.

Right after Caroline watered her plants, she took a seat next to Stiles. The situation that time was awkward and very silent. Caroline tried to break the ice and blurted out, “So…what brings you up this early?”

“Um..I love the fresh air.” Stiles answered.

“Usually, people won’t sit out here admiring the sky alone unless there is a very good reason..”

Stiles grumbled and then sighed. “I can’t sleep.”

Caroline smiled, “Well, there is a reason for that too.”

Stiles gave an annoyed look. “Well, look here, you’re really a busy-body person you know that? Besides, I really just can’t sleep, that’s all.”

Caroline quickly changed the topic and exclaimed out, “Wow! Look at the sky! Isn’t it breathtaking?”

Stiles laughed and said, “Well, it’s just the sky..you know..”

Maybe. Caroline was right. It does look rather enchanting that morning.

Very, very breathtaking indeed.

After that spectacular view of the sky, Stiles went back to sleep and suprisingly, he was able to sleep, very soundly, I guess.

It’s not always sunshine and rainbows..

18 Dec

This lovely red-haired lass is Caroline. Caroline loves the sunshine more than anything and because of that, she’s always been observe as optimistic.

She loves playing a little game of football at the beach and anything that involves physical activity. Caroline has been living alone in her huge house for quite some time and at times, she felt really lonely. Despite having so many friends, Caroline only has one best friend she fully trusted, Blair Wainwright.

Blair is the opposite of Caroline. Loner and shy..

However, as the saying goes, “Opposites attract” which Caroline and Blair prove right when both of them become the best of friends. Caroline encourages Blair to come out of the shell and Blair on the other hand teaches Caroline to take life seriously, sometimes.

Caroline hated the silence in her house and so, she invited Blair to move in with her. On the day itself, Blair had brought along an unexpected visitor.

It was a male, in his late twenties that Blair regarded as her normal friend.

Caroline wasn’t at all upset or angry with the sudden appearance of this guest because she thought, the more the merrier and besides, the guy isn’t that bad looking either.

“Hello. My name is Stiles and I’m Blair’s friend as you can see but i’m sure you’re too dumb to get what i’m talking about.”

“To her shock, the guy, Stiles McGraw, introduced himself rudely to Caroline. He disliked Caroline because of their differences.

To Stiles, Caroline looks like a typical bimbo. Selfish, loud, immature, irresponsible, self-conscious..you name it, anything to do with bimbo.

Caroline was very much insulted by Stiles but decided to let this matter go since he was Blair’s friend.

Initially, Blair didn’t plan on inviting Stiles along as she wanted serenity with her best friend.  Stiles had a secret crush on Blair and so, he tried to persuade her to invite him along. Annoyed and tired by his constant urging, Blair gave up and agreed. Besides, the house could use a male companion.

Stiles recalled that Blair told him that she loves guys who can cook and so he decided to prove himself by whipping up a dish he’s good in – Mac and Cheese.

Stiles clapped his hands happily as he looked at his favourite and perfect dish. “This is my favourite dish! Oh My Goodness, thank you, Stiles! It smells yummy!” exclaimed Caroline.

Stiles put up a fake smile and thought to himself. “So, this narcissistic bimbo and I have something in common, afterall.”
